Internal Audit of “Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015

Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation at the university organized a training course for the university’s staff on Monday and Tuesday, 19-20 Rabi’ al-Thani 1441 AH, at nine thirty in the morning in the training hall, entitled “Internal Auditing of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015” delivered by His Excellency Dr. Bin Abdullah Taher, Head of the Quality Unit at the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation. The course included an explanation of the basic concepts of quality and knowledge of the requirements for the international standard ISO 9001:2015 and how to apply the provisions of the standard to the activities of the university sectors in order to establish, activate and audit the quality management system. The course also included practical training on the internal audit methodology to equip the trainees with the required capabilities for the stages of the auditing process (planning and implementation) and to enhance their abilities to write the audit reports in accordance with the guideline of ISO 19001:2018. This course comes within the framework of developing the knowledge and skills necessary for university staff for internal auditing of the quality management system in the sector, and enabling university staff to practice auditing and improve performance in order to maintain an effective and strong quality management system.
