Tasks:
Supervision of the development and implementation of plans, objectives and
executive programs of the Vice Deanship and its subordinate units at women’s
campus for performance improvement and quality assurance.
Supervision of the management, control, and monitoring of the activities related
to the units of the Vice Deanship at Women’s Campus, and taking appropriate
measures and decisions to organize and improve work.
Responsibilities:
Coordination and supervision of the development and updating of plans for
quality, academic accreditation and evaluation and assessment.
Coordination and supervision of the development and updating of policies and
procedures for quality, academic accreditation and evaluation and assessment at
the university.
Coordination and supervision of the development and implementation of mechanisms
of quality assurance, academic accreditation and evaluation and assessment in
order to achieve compatibility with national and international standards.
Proposal of appropriate plans to attract qualified scientific and practical
cadres in the fields of quality, academic accreditation and evaluation and
assessment.
Coordination, planning, organization and management of activities of the Vice
Deanship at the women’s campus, and monitoring of the workflow.
Investigation and work on overcoming factors of underperformance of the Vice
Deanship at the women’s campus.
Coordination and supervision of the preparation and implementation of a plan to
promote the culture of quality, academic accreditation and assessment and
evaluation.
Coordination, follow up and support of the university sectors to realize quality
systems, academic accreditation and assessment and evaluation.
Coordination for the qualification of the university sectors to apply
international standards and excellence models approved by the university.
Coordination and contribution to the preparation of qualified cadres for
internal and external audits to review and fulfill standards of quality and
academic accreditation.
Supervision of the development of academic and administrative standards for
assessment and evaluation in accordance with national and international
standards.
Supervision of the identification of institutional performance indicators and
construction and data analysis of measures for such indicators.
Supervision of designing, development and
analysis of necessary statistics on programs, courses, and alumni employment
outcomes.
Contribution to the processes of review, monitoring, auditing, evaluation and
continuous development for quality assurance and academic accreditation.
Quality assurance of teaching and learning processes in all academic programs
(existing and new).
Supervision of the preparation of studies and proposals in the areas of quality,
academic accreditation, assessment and evaluation and excellence that contribute
to the development of the university's sectors and reduce challenges facing
development.
Supervision of the development of effective indicators to measure outputs of the
vice deanship in applications of quality and academic accreditation.
Motivation and encouragement of subordinate units to benefit from the latest
developments and technologies in the field of specialization of each unit in
order to improve and develop the performance of the vice deanship and its
affiliates.
Discussion and studying of new and constructive ideas and proposals submitted by
the subordinate units that aim at improvement and development in order to come
up with implementable results and recommendations.
Follow-up of evaluation of deanship’s performance in accordance with the
programs and executive work schedules specified in the approved plans of the
deanship.
Supervision of the preparation of data, information, statistics and annual
reports on the achievements of each unit of the vice deanship.
Supervision of the application of rules and regulations for administrative and
financial affairs and procedures of personnel affairs at the vice deanship.
Supervision of the identification and follow up on provision of the vice
deanship’s needs for human resources, equipment and materials.
Supervision of the identification of training needs for human resources at the
vice deanship and coordination with competent organizational units to meet those
needs.
Supervision of the organization, implementation and its improvement of the tasks
and activities related to the administrative and financial work of the vice
deanship and ensuring the optimal use of the available financial resources.
Supervision of the organization and preservation of the vice deanship’s
documents in a manner that facilitates their retrieval and utilization.
Powers:
Approval of recommendations for meetings and workshops associated with the vice
deanship.
Approval and submission of the annual report of vice deanship’s work and
achievements.
Approval of job performance evaluations for affiliates of the vice deanship.
Disbursement from the deanship’s budget in accordance with the approved
university regulations and systems.
Approval of vacations for affiliates of the vice deanship.
