Main tasks

Supervision of the development and implementation of plans, objectives and executive programs for evaluation and assessment at the university.
 
Supervision of qualification and provision of support to university sectors to fulfill and maintain the requirements of evaluation and assessment.

Supervision of the development and implementation of the strategic plan for evaluation and assessment.

Supervision and following up on the development and implementation of policies and mechanisms of evaluation and assessment for the university in accordance with the university strategic plan.

Supervision of the identification of methods and standards for academic and administrative evaluation and assessment.

Supervision and following up on the implementation of evaluation and assessment processes in departments, faculties, administrations and administrative units.

Supervision of the preparation of awareness programs to promote and consolidate the culture of evaluation and assessment.

Supervision of the holding of training workshops in the fields of evaluation and assessment.

Supervision of the qualification of cadres to work in the field of evaluation and assessment.

Supervision of the qualification and following up of the university sectors on evaluation and assessment.

Supervision of the designing of electronic questionnaires and tools for data collection and analysis for evaluation and assessment.

Supervision of the preparation of detailed reports on the results of evaluation and assessment.

Supervision of the provision of feedback to the university sectors in the form of periodic reports by performance evaluation.

Supervision of the studying of applications and provision of technical support to evaluation and assessment projects.

Supervision of the provision of consultation and assistance to entities and individuals in the areas of evaluation and assessment.

Provision of support to cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fields of evaluation and assessment.

Supervision of the preparation of a statistical report at the end of each year showcasing the activity of the evaluation and assessment unit.

Planning, organization and management of unit activities and monitoring of workflow.

Investigation and attempt to overcome the factors of underperformance of the unit.

Contribution to the processes of reviewing, monitoring, auditing, evaluation and continuous development for quality assurance of evaluation and assessment.

Supervision of the preparation of studies and proposals in the area of evaluation and assessment and excellence that contribute to the development of the university sectors and reduce challenges facing the development.

Following up on the performance evaluation of the unit in accordance with the programs and executive work schedules specified in the approved plans of the Deanship.
 
Supervision of the preparation of data, information, statistics and annual reports on the achievements of the unit.

Powers:

Approval and submission of the periodic reports of unit’s performance and achievements.
 
Approval of studies and reports related to the unit.
